The most exclusive invitation of the year has been issued; the supermodel, the thief, the senator, the heiress, the paparazzo, the pop prince and the playboy board a private jet. Destination: paradise.

Someone is watching. Someone who knows the dark secrets and the wicked reputations lurking beneath their glamorous facades. When it comes to revenge, knowledge is power. Vanity, pride, lust, greed - whatever their crime…

No one sees the plane go down, but everyone knows who was on board. Seven notorious passengers, on an island that does not welcome visitors. The challenge is to survive. Let the power games begin.

What a bizarre and fascinating book this is. I don't think I've ever read anything like it.

It was long and nervous. Sexy and hyper. It had me gripped and anxious, and thoroughly entertained.

The plot is outstanding, and to be fair the work that has gone into this book is beyond spectacular. Not only do we get one marvellous tale, we get eight more mini tales to take us deeper into the characters and their lives before and after the accident. It is extremely descriptive, which enables you to be in the grit of things, to connect completely with what's going on and with whom it's going on with.

I have to say I did struggle a bit at first. The character build up at the beginning is long, but totally necessary. If like me you're easily distracted stick with it because your prize is when you finish the book and think, fuck what the hell just happened?
