Eversea (Eversea #1) - Natasha Boyd

An orphaned, small-town, southern girl, held hostage by responsibility and self-doubt.

A Hollywood A-list mega-star, on the run from his latest scandal and with everything to lose.

A chance encounter that leads to an unlikely arrangement and epic love affair that will change them both for ever.

As powerful as the pounding surf, as intoxicating as the sea breeze, this is one love affair you won't be able to forget about...

Do you know what? I think I'm a bit pissed off that I actually know there's a book after this that I can jump straight into. This is for  me is a complete new feeling because I actually hate cliff hangers, but surprisingly I actually like the way in which Eversea has been evenly distributed throughout the book, with a great build up of drama and affection then ending with a shock that does indeed have you needing more. I really did enjoy this book and I would have loved for once to have felt the buildup and anticipation a series book brings. To me this is huge and shows me that Natasha Boyd is an excellent writer. Not only did I fall in love with movie star and grounded sex god Jack Eversea and the southern beauty that is heroine Kerri Ann Butler, but I was truly lost into the plot and into the words. This is in fact one of few New Adult books that have actually raised a bit of heat shall I say. This book represents what the New Adult genre is all about and I recommend anyone who wants a brilliant paced, wanton and intense read to pick up a copy.

My dilemma now is can I actually wait to read the next book!
