Today is the final day on Alexandra Browns Christmas at Carrington's tour and I am thrilled to be the last blogger and to have Alexandra and her delightful Witt with me.

Hello lovely lady and welcome to the book geek wears pajamas. How excited are you for the release of Christmas at Carrington's?

Hello lovely, firstly, thanks so much for being part of the Christmas at Carrington's blog tour. I can't tell you how excited I am, other than it really is like the night before Christmas - full of anticipation and hope. The eBook came out last week and I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to post a review. It's amazeballs!'

Let's take a look at the fab book and see what all the fuss is about.

Georgie Hart loves Christmas time at Carrington’s Department store. Running the luxury handbag department, Georgie adores helping customers in the hunt for the perfect gift for the perfect someone. And this year is no exception – now she has the hunky Tom, Mr Carrington himself, to spend the special day with. Life couldn’t get any more perfect.

But when Tom springs a surprise, all of Georgie’s plans are thrown into chaos. Carrington’s is getting a fresh lease of life in a hot new reality TV show, featuring the formidable retail guru, Kelly Cooper.

As the first show airs, Georgie is horrified to be shown in a far from flattering light. Worse is to come when Kelly’s vile daughter appears to get her claws into Tom. Georgie fears this will be the worst Christmas ever, but Santa still has a little surprise for her stocking this year – she’ll just have to wait until Christmas to find out.

Now if you're a Carrington book fan, you'll be itching for book 2 after the wonderful Cupcakes at Carrington's and the Devine Me and Mr Carrington teaser we got not so long ago. Now, If you've not read either don't worry you'll be fine with Christmas at Carrington's and will enjoy it non the less. I do advise reading book1 and the novella though, you'll get the feel of the characters and the settings and will generally enjoy it a lot more. Well that's my opinion anyway :)

So, back to Mrs Brown.

Carrington's sounds like a shopping heaven. What store anywhere in the world would you compare it to?

Carrington’s is based on a department store that I used to visit as a child. It was called Hanningtons and was a glorious powder-blue building on the corner of East Street in Brighton. I remember the gilt cage lift, the polite sales assistants with their receipt pads, the plush carpet and the smell of Revlon lipstick. Sadly, it’s since closed down, but for me the memory lives on in the Carrington series.

Eddie!! We all love him don't we? Do you have a friend that you based him on or an inspiration person for him?

Ah, thank you! I love Eddie too, and growing up in Brighton, I have a lot of gay friends who each think he’s based on them, lets just say he’s a combination of everyone, including me….

Will we be seeing another Carrington’s book in the future?
Yes, I’m writing it now, it’s called Ice Creams at Carrington’s and is coming out in June 2014.

Yes!! So excited.

What is your current handbag and what's inside?

A gorgeous buttery-soft navy leather Marc Jacobs top handle bag and here’s what’s inside –
iPad mini, Bach Rescue Remedy spray, rooibos tea bags, Jessica nail polish in candy cane, iPhone, keys with a picture of my daughter, QT, on, Anya Hindmarch gold purse, Vaseline limited edition crème brulee lip therapy, spare contact lenses, silver good luck pebble, a card from my agent’s daughter, Bare Minerals mini make- up kit, Hello Kitty glow stick, seven pens and a bottle of Halston Woman perfume.

So Jealous of that bag, It's Divine!

The Carrington series is going on the big screen who would you pick to play the part of Tom and Georgie?

Tom Ford is who I have in mind when I’m writing about Tom Carrington, I even have a picture of him on the wall above my desk. Georgie is tricky because to me she’s a real person, I know what she looks like inside my head… maybe Carey Mulligan, but she’d have to have a brunette bob and bulk up a bit to achieve Georgie’s curvaceous figure.

They really do fit the bill.

I'm guessing you're a reality TV fan. If asked, would you do celebrity big brother?

Oh no! I love watching reality TV and it was fun writing about it but the thought of actually being in a reality TV show petrifies me.

Red velvet cupcake vs chocolate orange cupcake?
Can I have both? Greedy I know, but it’s just too close to call…

As it's Christmas what would be you're ultimate Christmas gift to yourself?
A month or three in a spa, somewhere warm. And I could really do with a long snooze on a lounger!

Thanks Alexandra you've been as wonderful as always. Don't be a stranger and come back see us soon.
