A Piece of Cake - Trisha Ashley

Source: Personal Copy

Blurb:

Professional cake-maker Kate doesn’t have time for a man in her life, especially a boorish, sports-mad one like Wes. He’s definitely not her type.
But at her best friends wedding, when one crisis follows another, Kate begins to wonder whether she’s misjudged Wes.
Can love be the sweetest thing of all?

Review:

Always Trisha Ashley gives us glorious reads with just about a bit of everything in them. As short as A Piece of Cake maybe it still gives just as much as an Ashley full-length read. It's a fast, romantic, comical feast that has you laughing and sighing in term.

Heroine  Kate is the perfect heroine. Flame haired, with a curvy body and a love of cake. Her hatred for football and footballers only make the plot to this novella better. Especially when Kate's best friend Laura marries footballer Harry and she has to get to know his best man and fellow footballer Wes Rufford.

Without a doubt this is a little slice of Ashley heaven. I would have loved to have read more.
